New Pirates!

Ehi Everyone!
Here's my new Pirates I did for the Kevin Chen -Character Design- Class.-
We had to make 4 Pirates from the inspiration of the ones we did last time.

As you can see I've put on the left upper side the first ruff I did of them.- It was on a post it, so as Kevin and every teacher told me, if it works small It'll work bigger!

Then I've just made that figures bigger to add details.

I just used a track from grand Torino and I used Batman's characters.

The goal was to make a dialogue sequence with the cinematic theory.

Pirates Heads from Pasadena

As I told you before,
while I'm doing my regoular job I'm also attending 5 classes at the Pasadena Concept Desgin Academy.
It is very hard because the level of every student is super High! I hope to be good enough to finish the school and to learn and become better.
Trust me guys, workin' and studyin' at the same time is hard, and now 'cause I have a lot of job to do, it's even harder than when I were in Vancouver attendin' a full time animation school.
But here in pasadena is gonnabe just for 3 months so... I mean. I hope I'll survive :-)

By the way.. Here the assignment we had to do for tonight' concept design class: Twenty pirates heads tryin' to find different shapes for the constructions.
I did this last night ,I am actually at starbucks right now uploading and downloading stuff and I didn't sleep, I'm super tireeed!
I decided to add some tone on those character even if they didn't ask for that 'cause I think it helps to read them better (and because I think it's also more elegant like that).-
OOOOOK! So, see ya and thanks for comin' here and see what's goin' on. Sorry if I wrote to much, I think my hands are just following the mood of the keyboard.

SPOT CICRESPI - Ruffed Characters!

Ehi Guys and Gales,
here some of the characters I ruffed out before startin' the animation from the last post!
So if you see those drawings, you can see that a lot of the characters are with a different style.
I did that to see what client was lookin' for.- My first Idea was to do everything like the tiger number 5 :-D
Here in Pasdena everything is goin' good i've started today Analytical figure drawing with Kevin Chen and it was AMAZING!

SPOT Cicrespi!

I'm so happy to say that I did this video spot for Cicrespi.
Cicrespi is a place where they make everything, so many different things that it is difficult to explain that by writing it.
In this video (made in flash CS3) I tryed to explain what Cicrespi is and what they do.
No so much time for that, I did it while I was doing my books and other stuff I'm going to show you soon so I'm pretty satisfied.

But when I was in school 1 year ago, I understood that we're never done. We find everytime something to learn.- We need to learn and learn and learn.- Walt Disney was the same. My teachers too.So, why not me?

I found a school in Pasadena called Character Design Academy, so cool, so good.-
I'm going to study Storyboarding, Character Design and I'm going to follow some Analytical Figure Drawing Course.-

Everything with amazing teachers directly from Feature Studios like Disney, Dreamworks, Blue Sky.

Maybe this is gonnabe my last adventure so far from Italy.-
Maybe not.
What I'm sure, is that I'm going to feel this like my first experience in my life, I'm so happy about that! And, maybe, I'll show the exercises in this blog, 'cause I mean.. Why not?

So keep follow me!

I'm going to flight to L.A. this Tuesday.- I'm little bit nervous 'cause I've never been there and I even don't know where I'm going to sleep but.- I really love that! I'm going to make my character stronger and I'm going to improve so much.. I'm so happy about that! I'm going to meet so many people.. WOOOOOOOOOW!

I can't wait!

I'm coloring a new Tea Stilton Book and preparing everything (VISA, FLIGHT, APPLICATION FORMS etc.) for my next trip to Los Angeles (THIS IS MY DREAM is COMIN' TRUE).- I'm Preparing the lecture for my next Class at the school of comics Milano.
I'm also workin' for a Disney Comic Story (starring ehy ehy hey "Donald Duck").-
One day Walt Disney said to keep ourselves busy and I'm trying to follow his tips but.. It's hard sometimes!!!!

Naked Snow White

Today I did this Snow White thing 'cause IN the sketchoholic website they are going to interview "mr. J.Scott Campbell" and he himself choose for the contest the topic "sexy fairy tale".-
So, I did this. I did the dwarfs like that 'cause I wanted to make them non alive. so like that they seem -collage- or samething like that.-

SKetchbook Project Tour 2011!

Heeeeei!
So. I'm takin' part at the Sketchbook Project Tour 2011, a project from the Art House Co-op in New York.
My part consist in filling my Moleskine Sketchbook with doodles about Smoking and cigarettes.
I'm excited about that 'cause those sketchbooks are going to be in tour in a lot of places in the states from San Fransisco to Chicago to Portland to bla bla bla bla bla (WOOOOOOW)!

Restyilin' web-game for DIsney

Helloooo!
Even if I not post so much I think about postin' my stuff. I have so many things but everything is topsecret for now, BUT (and I'm sayin' BUT) I can post this. This is a work I did for a Disney webgame called Fun & Friends. A game where kids has to make they're own avatar, wear it and buy stuff for his virtual bedroom. They asked me in order to change the Style and the characters.
Then they decided to change the style again so, now I can post this :-)
I love Disney.

Firstly,
thank you for watchin' my blog,
thank you so much, and sorry I'm not posting every week but the commission now are too much and everything I do is top secret 'till it'll be published.-

So, I was at the school of comics, after a meeting with the Boss (i'm gonna teach there for a while, it's gonnabe a "3 Months short corse" in flash basic animation), I had to wait 30 minutes to go for lunch with the other teachers.- So i doodled those JOSH the Cat,
I love Josh, I hope one day I'll be able to make a story of him!
